Requirements
Here’s what we need from our international shoppers to successfully process your sales tax refund in the State of Texas:
Receipts
Original receipts from participating stores.
(We cannot accept duplicates, reprints, electronic copies, or photocopies.)
Online purchases are eligible if additional requirements are met—you must provide the original packing slip or the original shipping label.
Merchandise Purchased
Present the purchased merchandise at the time of your refund request
Travel Documents
Travel documents – such as a passport, visa, I-94, or entry stamp to the country.
For travelers from Mexico processing in border counties, an INE or IFE is also accepted.
(An ESTA may be provided when applicable.)
Travel Information
Provide flight or transportation information — such as an electronic ticket, itinerary, or bus ticket.
